Background

Dr. Adams received a BA in Psychology from Roanoke College and a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine, A.T. Still University.  He received his internship training in Family Medicine and residency training in Radiology and Nuclear Medicine from Doctors Hospitals in Columbus, Ohio as well as Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation from the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, Virginia.


Dr. Adams holds Competency Certification in Controlled Substance Management from the American Board of Interventional Pain Physicians, and is a diplomat with the American Academy of Pain Management. He is an affiliate of The Coleman Institute, Advanced Center for Addiction Treatment.  Recipient of the Guardian of the Profession Award, presented by the President of the American Osteopathic Association.  Participant in the American Osteopathic Association Mentor Program.
